What is Hot Drops?

Hot Drops is the home for fans to collect adult collectibles of their favorite adult stars & content Creators. 

Hot Drops are limited-edition Online Digital Collectibles, or NFTs, of adult media ranging from:

  • -Rotating still image trading cards
  • -4D animated video cubes
  • -Various mystery rewards

An NFT is a one-of-a-kind, non-fungible, cryptographic token representing a unique digital asset for which there is no copy or substitute. An NFT cannot be substituted for another NFT as each NFT is distinctive and unique in some way. An NFT is not a medium of exchange and is not convertible virtual currency.

Each Hot Drop is secured by the blockchain, meaning your Hot Drop is unique and verified to be direct from the Creator.

What are Hot Drop Collectibles?

Hot Drops are Online Digital Collectibles direct from adult stars & content creators.

Hot Drops include exclusive Collectible details of your favorite Creator like:

  • -Adult digital media
  • -Direct from the creator, guaranteed authenticity
  • -Individual serial number securing its own uniqueness equal to that of physical memorabilia

Each Hot Drop Collectible may unlock additional unique content, video, & perks that are only revealed post purchase and/or in combination with other Hot Drops.

Verification and authenticity?

All Creators go through a manual verification process prior to joining Hot Drops. Each Hot Drop Collectible comes directly from the Creator. In this way, we’re able to guarantee the authenticity of all Hot Drop Collectibles.

Hot Drops Beta Expectations

Hot Drops is a first-of-its-kind digital collecting experience. The product is still in beta and will be consistently enhanced over time. For the latest updates on our beta period, check out our blog and social media.

How quickly post purchase is the content available?

The digital media associated with each Hot Drop Collectible will be made available to view immediately once the payment has completed.

How quickly are the Hot Drop NFTs minted?

Minting an NFT is how the Online Digital Collectible becomes a part of the blockchain–a public ledger that is unchangeable and tamper-proof. Similar to the way that metal coins are minted and added into circulation, NFTs are also tokens that get “minted” once they are created.  

Hot Drops are represented as NFTs so they can be purchased and traded in the market and digitally tracked as it is resold or collected again in the future.

During this initial beta period, the digital media associated with each Hot Drop Collectible will be made available to view immediately post purchase. The NFT will be minted prior to the launch of the Marketplace in early 2022 and placed in your Hot Drops customer account’s wallet.

Can I trade or resell a Hot Drop?

In an upcoming release, we will extend the beta with a Marketplace to enable fans to buy, sell, & gift Hot Drops. Fans will be able to potentially make money from owning and selling limited-edition adult collectibles for the first time. We anticipate the Marketplace to launch in early 2022.

Signing up for an account is easy. You click on the My Account button in the top right corner of the website and you will be asked a few questions to create your account. Please be aware that we need a valid email address for your account, because that is how we will be contacting you with information in the future.

Accessing Your Transaction History

If you go to the My Account page (located in the upper right of the menu), you will be able to access your account and see your past transactions. You can also access that information via this link, if you are logged in to your account, https://myhotdrops.com/my-account/orders/#productview

Update Password or Email or Forgotten Password

You can purchase Hot Drops with both credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard) during checkout in USD.

How to make a purchase?

All Hot Drops that are currently for sale will be located on the Hot Drops store, which is located at https://myhotdrops.com/store/, and is also in the header menu bar. Once you have a Hot Drops account, you can purchase items for sale and they will appear in your personal customer account on this website.

There are only two steps that may be slightly different from the normal checkout process for any eCommerce item that you have bought on any other website, which are for security purposes — we want this to be an entirely secure process.

1) You will be asked to give your cell phone number in the process. Wyre will text an authorization code to that number.

2) You will also reach a point where Wyre puts a temporary pending hold for a few cents on your bank account. You will need to then login to your online banking account (via your browser or your banking app) and type in the 6-digits that appear after Wyre – ###### on that pending charge into your Wyre checkout process to complete the transaction. We have attached a screenshot of a banking account with the location of the number you need from your account.

Pricing & Fees?

Transaction Processing Fees:

  • -US Debit Card/Credit Card Processing — 2.9% 30¢ or $5 minimum, whichever is greater
  • -International Debit Card/Credit Card Processing (Outside the US) — 3.9% 30¢ or $5 minimum, whichever is greater

Starting in 2019, VISA, Mastercard, and other card networks started to identify cryptocurrency purchases differently from other merchants. Some banks started to impose Cash Advance fees on those transactions resulting in unexpected fees to the end-user.

Where can I find my purchase details?

In addition to an email receipt being sent to you for each purchase, Hot Drop collectible purchase details are also available in My Account in “Past Orders”. On this page, simply click on the transaction to view more details. 

Where can I see my purchased Hot Drop?

The Hot Drop collectible media can be viewed in My Account in “My Drops”. On this page, simply click on the Hot Drop collectible you would like to view and it will open the player to watch the full version of the media.

Refund policy?

Due to the digital download nature of our collectible products there is a strict NO REFUND policy.

Why did my order fail?

A payment can fail for a few reasons. Here what to check before sending in a support ticket:

– Check with your bank-issued card to see if you have any holds/blocks for this type of transaction.

– Make sure you are not in a non-supported US state or country

– Note we do not accept Apple Cash or Prepaid Card at this time 

– Review your Card billing info

– We currently only accept Visa and MasterCard. This can be debit or credit

– Make sure you are using a mobile phone # and not a Landline/VOIP #

In any of these cases, we have a few recommendations that might help your next transaction complete processing successfully. We recommend to always:

– Check our geographic restrictions here. Any states or countries that are listed we cannot currently support transaction processing in that jurisdiction. We keep this list updated, and you can expect this list to get shorter!

– Sometimes there are issues with your issuing bank not authorizing your transaction. We recommend contacting your bank card issuer for more information, as you may need to authorize Wyre as a merchant to continue making purchases.

– Keep your billing information updated, including your Apple Pay profile for the debit/credit card you are using.

– Any prepaid card which includes Cashapp, Transferwise, Revolut, N26, and others is not currently accepted. If you are using one of those, you will have to try another card.

Lastly, it is important to note that if your order fails and there are amounts appearing on your statement – these are only temporary authorizations. These will disappear within 2-3 business days.

Why did I receive an error for the weekly limit reached?

This message is shown when your 7-day rolling limit has been reached! The weekly limit will be refreshed 7 days from your last purchase amount. Please see our current limits below:

Why did my order take so long to process?

Orders submitted through Wyre Checkout usually take less than a minute to authorize and complete. Once an order is completed, it is sent out through the blockchain for delivery.

Please note that it can take up to 30 minutes for the transaction to confirm and be delivered on the blockchain. You may have seen increasingly longer wait times with the Ethereum network, as there have been very high levels of network congestion and higher than normal gas fees.

Also, note that we do not control the blockchain as it is a separate entity to Wyre or myhotdrops.com. 

Am I able to submit my order for reprocessing?

Unfortunately, no. Once an order has failed, we are not able to submit it again. A new order must be submitted.
